They actively supported Californian Motorcycle Racing; sponsoring their own riders and creating a department specifically to design motorcycles for racing.
The Cult following generated by the rebellious and dangerous image of Motorcyles was soon adopted by the Hollywood screen; Marlon Brando, James Dean, Clint Eastwood, Richard Gere, Steve McQueen and so many more legends used Johnson Motors Bikes as an extention of their heroic character.
